Nemom State assembly constituency is one of the seven state legislative assembly constituencies included in the Thiruvananthapuram Lok Sabha constituency. There are 140 state legislative assembly constituencies in Kerala. Nemom is represented by General Education and Labour Minister Shri. V. Sivankutty of CPI(M) in the 15th Kerala Legislative Assembly.
